What is reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive alternative healing practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" combines two Japanese words: "rei" meaning universal or divine, and "ki" meaning life force energy. This ancient practice is based on the understanding that we all have a life force energy flowing through us, and when this energy becomes blocked or stagnant, it can affect our physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
How Does Reiki Work?
During a Reiki session, we act as a channel for universal healing energy, using gentle hand placements either on or slightly above your body. This process helps to identify and release areas where energy has become stagnant, often as a result of physical injury, emotional trauma, stress, or life challenges.
The energy naturally flows to where it's most needed in your body, promoting the body's own natural healing abilities. Many people experience deep relaxation during sessions, and some report sensations of warmth, tingling, or gentle pulsing where hands are placed.

What to Expect in a Session
You'll remain fully clothed and comfortable, either lying on a treatment table or seated in a chair. The session begins with a brief discussion about what you're hoping to address, followed by the Reiki treatment itself. Many people find the experience deeply peaceful and restorative.
Some people feel effects immediately, while others notice changes over the following days. Common experiences include feeling more relaxed, sleeping better, having increased energy, or experiencing emotional shifts and insights.

Reiki Healing Session A focused energy healing session to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support your body's natural healing processes.
£40 for one hour
Combined Reiki and Counselling Session An extended session that begins with Reiki to identify areas where energy is stagnant due to emotional issues, followed by counselling time to explore and discuss what emotions or experiences may be present for you. This integrated approach allows you to work with both the energetic and emotional aspects of healing.
£65 for one and a half hours
